Aluminum Architectural Shapes : Aluminum Channels

Alloy and Temper: 6063-T5

Stock made from 6063 T5 is referred to as architectural aluminum. This material has a better surface finish than most aluminum alloys so it is well suited to decorative applications. Architectural should not be confused with Structural however as this alloy has half the strength of 6061. Aluminum channels made from 6063 T5 are considered architectural channel. These are suitable for decorative framing and fabrication where finish is an issue. The stock is dimensions by the width, the depth and the thickness.
