Alloy and Temper: 2011-T3

Aluminum hexagonal bars are available in 2000 series to 7000 series alloy. Hexagonal bars are often used as screw machine stock for items with a hexagonal section and a turned section such as fasteners and connectors. Some are available in precision sizes +/- .005-.006 inches. Hexagonal bar is specified by the alloy and dimension across opposite flats. Hex 2011 ¼ would be 2011 aluminum alloy ¼ inch across the flats.
