Aluminum Tubing : Aluminum Rectangular Tubing

Aluminum square tubing typically is drawn or extruded tubing. These are usually 6063 T5 alloys. Rectangular tubing is used in framing and bracing and has consistent wall thickness, giving sharp corners. The tubing is sizes by the width depth and wall thickness. Rectangular tubing, 6063 1 x 2 x 062 would be a 6063 tube, 1 inch by 2 inches (outside dimension) rectangular tube .061 inches thick.
