Aluminum Tubing : Aluminum Square Tubing (Round Corners)

Alloy and Temper: 6061-T6

Aluminum square tubing typically is drawn or extruded tubing. These are usually 6061 alloys. The thickness of the walls is not consistent, due to the corner blending radii. Square tubing with round corners may be applicable for display cases and framing where the rounded edge is desired for safety and aesthetics. The tubing is sizes by its outside dimension and wall thickness. Square tubing, rounded corners, 6063 1 x 1 x 062 would be a 6063 tube, 1 inch (outside dimension) square tube .061 inches thick with radiused corners.
