Aluminum Tubing : Aluminum Square Tubing (Sharp Corners)

Alloy and Temper: 6063-T5

Aluminum square tubing typically is drawn or extruded tubing. These are usually 6063 T5 alloys. The thickness of the walls is consistent, giving the tubing its square corner designation. Square tubing with sharp corners may be applicable for machine purposes an for guides where the square edge is an advantage. The tubing is sizes by its outside dimension and wall thickness. Square tubing, sharp corners, 6063 1 x 1 x 062 would be a 6063 tube, 1 inch (outside dimension) square tube .061 inches thick with even thickness or sharp corners.
