Aluminum Structural Shapes are made from 6061-T6 alloys. This alloy is twice as strong as architectural aluminum shapes. Structural shapes may be used for high strength lightweight framing and support. These are most commonly formed by extrusion. The stock is dimensions by the width or the angles or legs and the thickness.
