Carbon Steel : Bar Angles

Bar Angles are right angle sections, which have the greatest dimension, excluding length being 3 inches or less. Bar angles are used for smaller sign framing and light reinforcing applications such as brackets, and fencing or framing. Made from carbon steel they can be readily welded and cold worked Bar angles are designated by their size; flange width x flange width x web thickness, less than 3 inches in the largest dimension, excluding length. A sample callout would be 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 x 3/16.
