Carbon Steel : Hot Rolled Squares

Hot rolled carbon steel is steel that is rolled when the steel is still hot and more easily formable. For this reason, the dimensional and chemical specifications are wider than cold rolled. Hot rolled material will shrink and even twist slightly as it cools, and hot rolling can induce more impurities. It is still easily machine able, weld able and is a good general usage material.
