Carbon Steel : Hot Rolled Strip

Hot rolled strip is thin cross section steel with good ductility. These are generally thinner in section than flats and due to their ductility can be bent over on itself without (visible) cracking. It is easily cold workable making it suitable for ornamental ironwork, banding and strapping, as well as similar applications. It is readily weld able, and can be welded to thicker sections. Strips come in standard lengths nominally around 20 feet.
