Carbon Steel : MC Channels

MC channels are similar to C channels, but in miscellaneous (non-standard) sizes. . These may be considered structural if they are more than 3 inches in their greatest dimension, excluding length. These are good for fabrication and metal framing. They are readily weldable and cold workable. MC Channels, like other channels are designated by the depth and weight per foot. MC6 x 12 would be an MC channel 6 inches in depth with a weight of 12 lbs per foot
