Carbon Steel : Structural Angles

Structural Angles are right angle sections, which have the greatest dimension, excluding length being 3 inches or greater. The edges of the angles generally have a sloping tip rather than a square edge, but there is no standard to the taper. Structural angles are useful for large sign framing and as heavy-duty structural members. The size id given by the angle or leg length and thickness. Angle 4 x 4 x 1/4 would be a 4 inch angle channel, 1/4 inches thick.
