Welded wire reinforcing fabric is used to reinforce concrete construction in floors, sidewalks, driveways and patios. It is made from resistance welded wire and is available both galvanized and bare. Welded wore comes in 1 inch by 2 inch mesh, referring to the size of the pattern formed by the wire. Most wire used in construction comes in rolls 48 inches wide, in various lengths.
